Summer Reading 2026

Get ready for a summer filled with discovery, imagination, and fun. Crown Point Community Library invites readers of all ages to participate in the 2026 Summer Reading Program: Unearth A Story.

From July 1 through July 31, participants can enjoy reading challenges, free events, family activities, and opportunities to explore stories in new ways.


IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE

Due to the severe weather advisory and in the interest of public safety, the Crown Point Community Library’s Summer Reading Kick-Off Celebration has been rescheduled.

NEW DATE:
Monday, June 15, 2026
4–7 p.m.
Bulldog Park

All planned activities, including Adopt-A-Dinosaur, Fossil Dig, Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Summer Reading Registration, and more, will take place on the new date.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to celebrating Summer Reading with you on June 15 as we “Unearth A Story” together!
