Winter Reading Event

When the weather gets cold, ‘Brr-ing on the Books!’
The Crown Point Community Library invites readers of all ages to join our 2026 Winter Reading Program, Brr-ing on the Books!
Winter Reading is free, fun, and open to adults, teens, and children.
Registration
- Online registration opens: January 1
- In-person registration begins: January 2 (at both library locations).
How It Works:
Adults:
Participants may read books of their choice in any format, including print, digital, and audiobooks.
- Sign up online or at the library.
- Record the books you read during January and February.
- Submit your reading log online or at the library. Printed reading logs are available at both library locations.
- Participants will be entered into the weekly drawing for every reading log submitted. (Drawings occur weekly on Monday).
Children & Teens:
- Sign up online or at the library.
- Receive a BINGO card or print one from the website: Pre-K | Kids | Teens
- Follow the instructions in each BINGO box and mark them off as you complete them.
- Check in once a week with one or more BINGO boxes marked off to play the Plinko game and win a prize.
- A full BINGO earns a raffle ticket for our grand prize raffle. Earn a bingo by filling in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Limit one entry per person, per week.
- Grand prize drawings will take place in the first week of March.
