Local Student’s Artwork Selected for 2027 Special-Edition Library Card
Crown Point Community Library is excited to announce Zeke Anderson, a sophomore at Crown Point High School, as the winner of the 2026 Library Card Design Contest. His original artwork was selected from 15 entries submitted by local artists.
Zeke’s design features eight native Indiana birds: a Canada goose, American goldfinch, mourning dove, great blue heron, red-winged blackbird, black-capped chickadee, blue jay, and northern cardinal.
The Library Card Design Contest gives community members an opportunity to share their creativity and help bring new designs to the library’s collection of cards.
As the contest winner, Zeke’s artwork will be featured on a special-edition Crown Point Community Library card, which will be available in 2027.
We congratulate Zeke on his winning design and thank all 15 artists who participated in this year’s contest.
