#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity
worldwide. Following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year’s #GivingTuesday will take place on November 27 and will kick off the
giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back.
As our Library welcomes over 240,000 visitors a year, hosts thousands of programs, and circulates more than 375,000 items, it’s clear it is a valued community asset.
Public funding provides us with a strong, yet limited, financial base but our private donations and grants help build CPCL into an exceptional community resource.
Please support your Library by participating in #GivingTuesday! Your donation of any amount will allow the Library to expand programming and enhance services to
improve the quality of the lives of our patrons creating a stronger community.
To participate go online to www.crownpointlibrary.org/give and donate!
Share your enthusiasm for making a difference on social media and use the tag #GiveCPCL #GivingTuesday.
Donations can be mailed to:
Crown Point Community Library, 122 Main Street, Crown Point, IN 46307 – Attn: Giving

Thank you for supporting the Crown Point Community Library!
The Crown Point Library now offers charging stations, for mobile devices, at both locations.
With the help of the partnership with Mark Galyean of EBSCO, the Library would like to thank Jennifer Mantai of Academy Mortgage Corporation and Christine Davies of Century 21 Affiliated for sponsoring these charging stations.
The station has a variety of cables for up to 8 devices, including iPads, iPhones, Androids, Kindles and more! One station is located in the Internet Cafe at the Crown Point Library and the other near the Teen Zone area at the Winfield Branch.
