Summer Reading

SR16-w

Kids, teens, adults – Read for the Win!

Summer is the best time to read for pleasure.

This year’s theme for school age children is “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!” Young readers from Pre-K through 6th Grade will explore all things sports and fitness. Activities include games, crafts, science and engineering experiments and more.

Teens, in grades 7 – 12, are encouraged to participate in “Get in the Game: Read!” and read for prizes, as well as take part in special events designed just for them!

Adult patrons are invited to explore a variety of ways to improve their health and well-being in the “Exercise Your Mind-Read!”  program. A variety of programs design around fitness, nutrition, stress relief, and creativity are planned throughout the summer.
